Dogs you say– Yes Sheltering Hands does occasionally have dogs available for adoption. Although most of our canine friends are placed with other rescues because of lack of dog foster facilities we do currently have 2 dogs seeking a permanent home. The 2 dogs are Betsy and Freddie.
Please contact us if you know of a home for these special dogs.
FREDDIE
Freddie is a sweet 2 year old black & tan neutered male pit bull. He does well with other animals and kids. He was in a home over the last year but had to be returned due to a move by the owner to a place that was not suited for a dog. He really loves car rides.
BETSY
Betsy is a tri-colored spayed female beagle. She is approximately 4 years old and was originally from a breeder in Missouri. Some how she ended up at Levy County Animal Services and the owner never claimed her. She will sit with you on the couch and gets along with others. Her favorite past time is playing “seek the rabbit” but we are not sure if she would know what to do if she found one!
